Elyse Mailhot

Elyse is a Vancouver-based tourism professional with 25+ years of experience in the travel & hospitality industry. In 2013 she founded EM Adventure Marketing, a boutique communication and PR consultancy specializing in adventure travel of a transformative nature. She’s collaborated with Canada’s leading DMOs and tourism brands – such as Destination Canada, Klahoose Wilderness Lodge, Polar expeditions specialist, Quark Expeditions – and other adventure travel specialists worldwide. Elyse is no stranger to the TTC: since its inception she's been a passionate advocate for the organization and in 2016 she became a TTC advisor and publicist. Together with Jake Haupert and Doug O'Neill Elyse co-founded the Herald Media Program, helping shape the program and recruit the very first cohort of purposed-driven storytellers, travel writers and editors. Over the years Elyse earned media placements in leading travel and trade media outlets across North America and Europe.
