Educational Programs & Sessions

Your Learning Journey

Every journey begins with honest assessment of where you are, followed by a single step in the direction that calls to you.

Our educational programming is built around a conviction: when we invest in the growth of the people who design, guide, and steward travel experiences, the ripple effects reach travelers, communities, and the living systems that sustain them. Whether you are just discovering this work or ready to deepen a practice you have been building for years, there is a place for you here.

Our community spans 40+ countries. Our programs offer a multi-stage, iterative process that inspires lasting change by shifting mindsets and integrating transformative experience design with regenerative thinking that helps all life to flourish.

FRAMEWORK FOR TRANSFORMATION

How We Guide

All of our programming is grounded in the Framework for Transformation, which follows a process of ongoing discovery. The journey begins with honest self-assessment, moves into exploration of why you are drawn to this work, then into intentional preparation, engagement through experience, reflection and meaning-making, and finally integration of what you have learned into lasting change.

The Three Relationships

At the core of the framework are three essential relationships that shape every travel experience and every human interaction.

Self & Spirit:

Greater awareness of identity, emotional dynamics, motivations, mindset, travel intentions, and life goals. The inner journey of purpose, presence, and personal growth. Before we can guide others toward transformation, we begin with our own.

Others & Bridging:

Better understanding of how to support others and connect across socio-cultural systems. The relational work of empathy, cultural humility, and authentic connection. Transformation happens in relationship with other people, perspectives, and cultures.

Systems & Stewardship:

Nature as an active participant, not a backdrop. Community reciprocity, ecological awareness, and the understanding that our work exists within living systems that deserve to thrive. Does nature have a seat at the table? In our framework, it always does.

Our programming is organized into six levels reflecting a natural progression of depth and commitment. You do not need to complete them in order, but they are designed to build on one another.

Equitable Pricing

We believe access to this work should not be determined by financial circumstances. The practitioners and destinations that need these frameworks most are not always the ones with the largest budgets, and the perspectives they bring make the community stronger for everyone.

Equitable pricing of up to 50% off is available for programs with an investment of $500 or more. Applications are reviewed by the Transformational Travel Institute (TTI), TTC's nonprofit arm, which advances equitable access to transformative experience design and regenerative development across the tourism industry. TTI's review process ensures that support reaches the practitioners and organizations where it can make the greatest difference.
