A Shared Mission, Distinct Roles

The Transformational Travel Council (TTC) and the Transformational Travel Institute (TTI) work in close partnership to advance a more conscious, regenerative, and equitable travel industry.

TTC serves as the professional and industry-facing arm, offering education, accreditation, and community for leaders designing meaningful travel experiences and destination strategies.

TTI, our sister nonprofit organization, exists to ensure this work is globally accessible. Through philanthropic support, equitable pricing, and its membership in 1% for the Planet, TTI extends access to TTC programs for marginalized individuals, under-resourced communities, and developing destinations around the world.

Together, this symbiotic model allows us to:

• Maintain high-quality, professional education and accreditation through TTC

• Extend that education equitably through TTI’s nonprofit mission

• Support local leaders, cultural hosts, and destination practitioners closest to place

• Align transformational travel with long-term community wellbeing and regeneration

In partnership, TTC and TTI ensure that transformational travel is not just innovative, but inclusive, responsible, and rooted in care for people and place.
