This adventurous week-long retreat is designed to help you to dive deeper into your SELF while fostering a connection with the land, culture, and like-minded women.  We accomplish this through a balance of hikes, reflective inner work, laughter, yoga, healing, and ceremony.  If you are looking for clarity, feel stuck, have experienced a life transition, yearn for community and connection, want a new perspective or are seeking a new adventure this retreat is for you!  Upon completion of the program, you have the tools and practices to continue at home.

No yoga experience is necessary.  We practice Svaroopa® yoga during the retreat.  This style of yoga is gentle yet facilitates subtle and profound changes in body and mind.  Svaroopa ®yoga dissolves spinal tension, quiets the mind and can facilitate a change of perspective.  It is not a gym-style yoga workout.  Poses are mostly done lying and sitting down.  The only requirement is the ability to get on and off the floor.  Hikes are tailored to individual and group fitness levels; however, the altitude of Taos is 7000 feet, and it is strongly encouraged that you begin a fitness program before the retreat.  Most hikes begin or climb above 7000 feet.

The retreat is in a home setting in Ranchos De Taos, located 4 miles from Taos Plaza.  Participants get to experience an authentic residential Taos community neighborhood.  You have a 360-degree view of the mountains, sprawling vistas and all that includes.  Lodging will be within a yurt, tepee, or ecofriendly house.
