An award-winning freelance writer and author living in Vancouver, Claudia believes in the power of the travel experience to inspire and transform people’s lives for the better. She writes about adventure, family, wellness and sustainable travel for a variety of online and print outlets: AFAR, Time, the Globe and Mail, Toronto Star, Vancouver Sun, Air Canada enRoute, Saturday Evening Post, explore, NUVO, CAA magazine and others. Her award-winning travel anthology “A Gelato a Day” (2022) is a collection of twenty true tales of the good, the bad and the not-so-ugly of the family travel experience. When not travelling, she enjoys spending time with her family as well as hiking, reading, gardening and exploring beautiful British Columbia.
